NORTH CHICAGO, IL—Emphasizing that potential users of the drug should never take no for an answer, a Skyrizi ad that began airing nationally Tuesday encourages viewers to fight any doctors who say the medication is not right for them. “Consult your doctor before taking Skyrizi, and if your doctor advises against it, physically attack them immediately,” says a voiceover in the 60-second TV spot, which instructs viewers to ball their hand into a fist and throw a left hook at any healthcare provider who refuses to prescribe them the injectable biologic. “Always tell your doctor if you have an active infection, tuberculosis, or an allergy to Skyrizi, but should they say that means you can’t take it, remove your belt and beat their ass. Fight as dirty as you gotta fight. In the event they bring up side effects like respiratory infections, headaches, or injection-site reactions, pull their hair and kick them in the genitals. They’ll give you anything you want after that.” The ad goes on to claim that eligible patients can pay as little as zero dollars for Skyrizi if they are willing to kill their doctor to get it.
