State Question 844 could end constitutional guarantee reimbursing schools, local governments for lost property tax revenue

Oklahoma voters will decide Aug. 25 whether to remove a constitutional guarantee requiring the state to reimburse school districts and other local governments for property tax revenue lost because of a business tax incentive program.
