On Aug. 12, 2014, Academy Award-winning actor and comedian Robin Williams — who debuted as the alien on “Mork and Mindy” and went on to deliver unforgettable performances in “Dead Poets Society,” “Good Will Hunting” and “Mrs. Doubtfire” — died at his home in California. He was 63.
