(NewsNation) — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced recalls on about 500,000 products that were sold and distributed by Amazon.

The items affected by the recall include power banks, children’s helmets, dressers, portable fans, crib mobiles and baby loungers. Safety concerns range from fire hazards to risks of suffocation and injury.

Here are the specific products involved and what you need to know.

LXDHSTRA baby loungers and crib bumpers

The CSPC said about 360 LXDHSTRA-branded baby loungers sold on Amazon have multiple Infant Sleep Product violations, which include low sides, a thick sleeping pad and an enclosed foot opening, which could pose a fall and entrapment hazard to babies.

The crib bumpers that come with the loungers are banned because they could obstruct breathing, thus creating a suffocation hazard for babies.

Customers are advised to stop using the products and email the manufacturer to get a full refund. There is more information on the CSPC website.

Anker power banks

The recalled power banks. (CPSC)

About 481,000 power banks made by the brand Anker were recalled due to an issue in which the lithium-ion battery could overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard. The following models were affected:

  • Anker Power Bank (20,000mAh, 22.5W, Built-In USB-C Cable) — Model A1647
  • Anker MagGo Power Bank (10,000mAh, 7.5W) — Model A1652
  • Anker Power Bank (10K, 22.5W) — Model A1257
  • Anker Zolo Power Bank (20K, 30W, Built-In USB-C and Lightning Cable) — Model A1681
  • Anker Zolo Power Bank (20K, 30W, Built-In USB-C Cable) — Model A1689

Customers with the affected models must fill out an online recall form on Anker’s website to receive a refund. After the company confirms the model, customers are advised to dispose of the power banks at a certified facility that accepts products with lithium-ion batteries.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a tool on its website to find a facility that will dispose of the power banks.

IcyBreeze Buddy portable misting fan

The recalled cooling fan. (CPSC)

Around 22,600 portable misting fans were recalled by IcyBreeze because the fan could overheat while charging and ignite, which poses a fire hazard, according to the CPSC.

In order to get a refund, customers must fill out the recall form on the company’s website and throw the fan away.

EnHomee 13-drawer dresser

The recalled 13-drawer dresser. (CPSC)

The CPSC said about 11,200 dressers are affected by the recall. If the dressers are not anchored to the wall, they could pose a tip-over and entrapment hazard that can result in serious injuries or even death to young children. The dressers also fail to meet the mandatory standard required by the STURDY Act.

Customers can reach out to the company on their website for a refund.

Youbeien crib mobile

A recalled model of the crib mobile. (CPSC)

About 3,000 crib mobiles sold by the brand Youbeien on Amazon were affected by the recall, according to CPSC. The mobiles violate the safety standard for toys that have button batteries because the compartment for the batteries can be easily opened, creating a risk for serious injury or death if the batteries are swallowed.

Customers who have the baby mobile should stop using it and go to the CPSC website for instructions on how to get a refund from the seller.

YooxArmor kids’ helmets

The recalled kids’ helmet. (CPSC)

The CPSC said the 1,780 recalled kids’ helmets violate the mandatory safety standard for bicycle helmets, which can cause them to fail to protect the wearer in the event of a crash and lead to serious injury or death.

Customers are urged not to use the helmets. To get a refund, customers can upload photos of the helmet with the straps cut off to the company. The CPSC has more information on its website.
