Duncan Police Department training lieutenant Jarrod Christopher Bishop was arrested and posted a $150,000 bond following a fatal hit-and-run involving a bicyclist on U.S. Highway 81. Troopers observed significant vehicle damage and smelled alcohol on Bishop after he claimed he thought he hit a deer. He is currently on administrative leave while an internal investigation continues.
